Cooperation agreement with Shimano

Prior to this year’s cycling events, Vätternrundan has signed a cooperation agreement with Shimano, which means that they are now official suppliers. Shimano is a strong, well-known brand in bicycle accessories.

“We believe that our participants will appreciate the opportunity to see and discuss the latest products with the experts from Shimano,” said Vätternrundan’s Head of Marketing Jessica Hallros. “We warmly welcome Shimano to Vätternrundan and Motala.”

Shimano Nordic Cycle AB was formerly known as Hallman Sports AB. In 2004 the company was bought up by Shimano Europe and has been owned by them since. Shimano's philosophy is that everyone should be able to use Shimano components, regardless of the price range you are looking for. The company has 40 employees in Norway, Finland and Sweden, and has its headquarters in Uppsala. Many of the employees have a cycling background and extensive experience in the bicycle business.
